The scheme provides a grade separated rail junction enabling the facilitation of Crossrail and Heathrow Express service trains. The junction will provide new routes from the main and relief lines to Heathrow and London Paddington constructed with minimal disruption to existing main line services.

Bespoke temporary works design solutions were achieved through early planning and collaboration between Sian formwork, the client, and our temporary designers. The form design required a rolling shutter allowing the construction of the new viaduct from behind the protection shutter with out the need for costly and disruptive line blocks. The contract was nominated for a British Construction Award recognising in recognition of the innovative temporary works design solution.

With Sian’s accreditation as a primary sponsor, we were able to supply experienced PTS tradesmen from our employee base of over 250 operatives with out the need to outsource staff.
