The new Southall Lane Waste Depot is capable of handling up to 30,000 tonnes of waste a year from the Houndslow borough. As well as storage and processing facilities, the depot will include offices and a vehicle workshop.
With over 4000m2 of slabs laid between kerbs and drainage runs in 16 separate consecutive daily pours, planning pump movements and managing curing was the key to success of the project.
