Project Details

The scheme replaces the current 121-year-old Victorian station, which is unable to accommodate the longer trains required. The main station works have required in-situ concrete foundations and structural walls to be built to accommodate the subsequent steel framed structure.

As part of the works Sian have constructed a new multi-storey car park that will serve the new station. Much of the work has involved working in close proximity to the running lines. As a primaray sponsor Sian have been able to meet the working requirements by supplying experienced PTS rail staff.

Our Roles

CCS scaffolding have successfully provided scaffold access solutions for the project. Working along side CCS Scaffolding, our in-house engineers have been able to develop complex CAT3 scaffold design solutions , constructed in close proximity to the live running lines.
