The works for this project have included 8 major structures constructed next to and over the existing live A1 and A14 carriageways.
With bridge abutments over 80m long and in excess of 9m high early planning and design were critical to the success of the project.
The projects have seen the construction of Steel composite bridges, Concrete integral Bridges, underpasses, and large in situ deck construction along with underpasses.
