We’re proud to share the latest progress from site, marking a major milestone in the delivery of a 4,600-tonne viaduct constructed across the M6 motorway - achieved without closing the motorway and completed ahead of the Christmas period.
This phase of the project showcases the scale and complexity of the works, underpinned by detailed planning, precise execution, and close collaboration. Delivering major infrastructure over one of the UK’s busiest motorways while maintaining live traffic, and doing so before Christmas, is a significant achievement.
A huge credit to Balfour Beatty, HS2, and the team at Sian Formwork, collaborating closely with CCS Scaffolding, to deliver this milestone safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
