Following on from Long John Hill this project saw the construction of the second Network Rail Bridge upgrade scheme, requiring the upgrade and part replacement of the existing Bridge at Gospel Oak.

Works involved the construction of a large crane base, 4 no extension wing walls to the existing abutments and extensive in-situ and pre-cast concrete panel installation to the shelves.

The main construction works were carried out over the River Lee Navigation and undertaken during a 6 week Rail Blockade under tight time and programme constraints where planning and transparency with the main contractor and Network Rail were key in delivering a successful project.
